About Medication Interaction Checker

Last updated October 4, 2026

Medication Interaction Checker is a free tool that helps people understand whether their medicines, supplements and alcohol are safe to combine, in plain English and with the official source behind every answer.

Why we built it

Most people take more than one medicine, and many combine prescriptions with over-the-counter pain relievers, sleep aids, supplements or alcohol. Free interaction tools are disappearing or hide their reasoning. We wanted a checker that explains why an interaction happens, what to actually do about it, and where the information comes from.

What makes it different

  • Sources on every result. Each warning quotes the FDA label text it is based on.
  • Plain English. We write at an everyday reading level and avoid unexplained jargon.
  • Private. The checker runs in your browser and does not store the medicines you enter.
  • Honest about limits. We tell you what the tool cannot do, and when to call your pharmacist instead.
